WATCH: Santa Lays Off Reindeer Due To Rising Cost Of Feed Will Use Jet Powered Sleigh Instead

Santa’s past due to sell his old flight for a new Christmas cruiser. Just how around a jet-powered sleigh? There’s one available.

The sleigh is the work of one Robert Maddox, a self-taught tinkerer well-known for his madcap builds. Understood colloquially as The Rocketman, his hobby includes strapping roaring pulsejet engines to everything from go-karts to motorcycles as well as also skateboards. If his work reminds you of Wile E. Coyote, that’s no coincidence. The accident-prone canid is one of Maddox’s prime ideas, as The Drive found out in an interview with Maddox previously this year.

The sleigh follows on from Maddox’s earlier go-kart, known as The Beast. It includes three large pulsejet engines mounted to the back of television steel structure, which run mainly on lp. In the place of the Beast’s wheels, though, Maddox fitted skis, producing a jet sleigh to blow up about on the snowy plains.
